Chelsea Baxter-Rodden

Manager

Chelsea Baxter-Rodden stands out as a fun and approachable accountant, breaking the mould of the ‘typical’ accountant with her vibrant personality.

Specialising in management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and taxation, she’s also a Xero expert. Her approach to working with clients focuses on clear communication, ensuring complex concepts are simplified and easily understood. She is also regularly involved in training and inducting new staff members, contributing significantly to their development.

Chelsea graduated with a BCom in accounting and finance from Otago University in 2013. After spending six months overseas working at Walt Disney World in Florida, she joined McCulloch & Partners in 2014 as a graduate accountant. She became a Chartered Accountant in 2019, and in recognising her substantial contributions to the firm, she has steadily progressed through the ranks to achieve a recent promotion to Manager.

Outside the office she serves as the Treasurer for both the Invercargill and Districts Victim Support Local Group Committee and the TSB Netball Club. These roles solidify her industry knowledge and show her passion and commitment to our local community.

In her personal time, Chelsea is an avid netball player during the winter, gets involved in various MCP social sports teams, and attends gym classes. She enjoys traveling, socialising, and has a quirky passion for playing the tambourine. As a marriage celebrant since 2021, Chelsea spends her summers officiating weddings, learning about the wedding industry, and helping friends celebrate their special day.

For an accountant who combines expertise with a personal touch, reach out to Chelsea Baxter-Rodden at McCulloch & Partners. Experience her meticulous attention to detail and clear communication in managing your financial needs.
