With over a decade of experience under her belt, business advisory and management accounting services have become Megan’s specialties. Alongside her commercial work, she is particularly interested in working with clients in the rural sector. Megan knows that having an accountant who understands not just the numbers but also your industry is key to seeing growth and success.
Beginning her career at McCulloch & Partners as a trainee accountant, after five years of training she became a Chartered Accountant and moved to London where she gained experience as a Finance Manager. Megan couldn’t resist the call of Southland and came back to us in 2018, later being appointed Associate, and now Partner.
Megan lives in rural Central Southland with her husband and young children. Being right amongst the rural community helps her delve into the operational side of things and keeps her up to date with the challenges that farmers are facing, continuously driving her passion for the sector as she sees the effect numbers have on the output of the operations.
She enjoys spending time on the farm with her young family and being able to give back to the community by assisting not-for-profit organisations such as YMCA Southland and Cycling Southland. Megan enjoys making the most of the Southern outdoors by going jet boating and camping.
